We are the CNY Poly Collective! Our existence depends upon your help! Members can help by attending meetings and sharing their ideas for future events, by chipping in financially and/or by hosting events. All donations will go directly towards meetup costs. The ideas for events will be planned by you and some will be hosted by you, when and if you are ready to take on a more active role.
They CNY Poly Collective hosts events in the Central New York region, mainly near the Finger Lakes.
• Remain active - A safe and secure group is our goal. Members who remain active or communicate with us about why they are currently inactive helps us maintain a group of dedicated members.
• Help brainstorm future events, chip in monetarily and/or plan and host events (Contact us with ideas!)
For clarity, this group is NOT a platform for seeking casual sex or hookups. Activities are intellectual discussion oriented for integrative thinkers who are considerate of feelings of the general public and hence non-sexually explicit.
The group is for people who live in a world where love is abundant and not limited to monogamy. The purpose of this group is to create authentic connections within the polyamory community. CNY Poly strives to be a space for people who value win-win cooperation and kindness, who view being ethical, open, honest, and respectful as the important prerequisites to all human relationships.
To maintain our group, we need your help! CNY Poly is a self-regulating, cooperative group relying on the talents and leadership capacity of each of its members. Past activities include happy hours, trips to events like REAF (Rochester Erotic Arts Festival), walks/hikes, Pokémon Go, picnics/bonfires, game nights, coffee & Poly101 round table discussions. Share your meetup ideas, complete with date and time and venue and we will work to add them to our events page!
Please note: If you do not have a clear picture of yourself you will not be accepted into the group. It is rather difficult to meet out in person if you don't know who to look for! If you are uncomfortable posting a picture due to the nature of your job or the like, feel free to email the organizers and we can discuss options.
