Yoga Nidra is a series of breath, body and awareness techniques that guide you into a state of deep, effortless relaxation while staying fully aware and conscious. it is practiced in a comfortable supine position on your back, or in a chair. No experience is required other than having the willingness to have an experience. One 30 minute session is equivalent to 3 hours of deep sleep. Yoga Nidra helps the mind to disengage from everyday and chronic stresses that are stored in the body and the mind. It restores the nervous system and promotes self discovery, creativity, inner peace and so much more. This practice is great for everyone. Please bring a pillow, blanket and journal.
