For July, we'll be joined by Pat Connors, VP of Power Supply for Platte River Power Authority (PRPA) who'll present on PRPA's existing and future Renewable Resource Plans including the the new Roundhouse Wind Project and Rawhide solar plus storage project. PRPA is the generation and transmission authority that provides electricity to Fort Collins, Longmont, Loveland and Estes Park.

Pat Connors has an Electrical Engineering degree from the University of Wisconsin – Madison and MBA from University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee and is a Professional Engineer in the State of Wisconsin. Pat worked 6 years for Wisconsin Electric Power Company in Milwaukee as a Transmission Planner and Substation/Distribution Planner. Pat also had held various positions at WPPI Energy, including overseeing Resource Planning, RTO Markets and Operations and oversaw the WPPI’s initial and on-going participation in the Mid-Continent Independent System Operation (MISO) day-ahead, real-time and ancillary service markets. Pat is currently overseeing Resource Planning, Operations and Customer Service for Platte River Power Authority.

The presentation will be held at Odell Brewing Company’s taproom at 800 E. Lincoln Avenue in Fort Collins. Doors open at 7 pm with presentation commencing at 7:30 and running through 8:30 pm.
