"NO FUN for Animals" at Colorado Renaissance Faire (OPENING DAY)
Animal Action Network (http://AnimalActionNetwork.org) is hosting several No Fun For Elephants Demos this summer. They will be added to our calendar as they are planned, so please check the dates. ** Here is a cruelty investigation video at Colorado Renaissance Faire from 2017, by CompassionWorks International: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RWiN5MkWbUI (Please like and share the video! Thanks!) Animal Defenders International (ADI) (http://www.ad-international.org/adi_home/) has created this ‘No Fun for Elephants’ (http://www.ad-international.org/animals_in_entertainment/go.php?id=3034&ssi=11) campaign to educate the public about cruel elephant rides (CLICK LINK ABOVE FOR VIDEO with Bob Barker). ADI (http://www.ad-international.org/adi_home/) is working across the country to END these dangerous and inhumane elephant rides. These demos are our way of helping with this campaign. ADI is having success, with cities and events across Southern California severing ties with the notorious elephant provider, Have Trunk Will Travel, and ending their elephant rides. Let's be successful for elephants right here is Colorado! This cruel side show is part of the Colorado Renaissance Faire right here in Larkspur Colorado! The animals need our help! The posters and leaflets will be provided and we will be using our Animal Rights meetup groups and FaceBook pages in Denver and Colorado Springs to post the events. Come when you can and stay as long as you can. More possible demo dates for "No Fun for Animals" at Colorado Renaissance Faire TO BE ANNOUNCED * SEE BELOW for MORE WAYS to HELP the ANIMALS* This certainly is NOT the only animal abuse happening at Colorado Renaissance Faire. They also have tiger prisoners and other unfortunate animal slaves. * If you can't attend, PLEASE be a voice for these animals who can't defend themselves by making polite but firm calls and writing polite but firm letters, letting the faire organizers know that you will alert and inform all your friends, family, and co-workers about the use of animals at their fare, and you will NOT attend a faire until they STOP the use of animals once and for all. They don't need animal acts to make their event fun and exciting for everyone! CLICK HERE for their CONTACT PAGE (http://ColoradoRenaissance.com/Corporate-Group-Sales/) * Bob Barker Spearheaded ADI Campaign to End Elephant Suffering at Fairs ADI has launched a nationwide initiative in the United States about the use of elephants giving rides, performances or making appearances at public events. At the heart of the campaign is a new DVD narrated by Emmy award winning TV host Bob Barker entitled ‘No Fun For Elephants’ and featuring harrowing undercover footage from inside elephant training facilities in California, as well as abuse of an elephant on tour by a Texas-owned company.
