What we're about

This group is for any adult interested in building a daily spiritual practice and becoming part of a community that meets weekly to discuss readings on the topics listed (Spiritual Growth, Consciousness, Metaphysics, New Thought, Science of Mind, Religious Science, Metaphysics, Abundance And Prosperity, Self-Improvement, Self-Empowerment, Self Exploration, etc.). Each day our members will study a one page reading from a book selected by the community and each week we will come together to discuss what we read, and meditated upon, during the week.

Currently, we are reading from...

365 Days of Richer Living: A Daily Guidebook of Powerful, Inspiring, Affirmative Prayers and Meditations (How to Use Your Mind Power for More Successful Living)
by Ernest Holmes and Raymond Charles Barker*

Please read the one-page daily meditations each day of the week and we will discuss what we are learning in our Meet-Up. Each week we discuss the previous weeks readings from last Sunday to Saturday.

You can order this book by going to the Center for Spiritual Living website at www.CSLMidtown.org (http://www.cslmidtown.org/), clicking on [What We Believe] and then [AmazonSmile]. Search for 365 Days of Richer Living by Ernest Holmes. 5% of each sale will go to CSL Midtown.

You're invited to join us on an amazing spiritual journey in 2019 at CSL Midtown

Join us on an Amazing Spiritual Journey in 2019 as we read and discuss "The Science of Mind" by Ernest Holmes with like-minded individuals from the Atlanta area. NOTE: You can join us any time during the year for a great discussion. All faiths, philosophies, and religions are invited. Come and see what this is all about. ---------------------------------- Sometimes keeping to a daily spiritual practice can be a challenge, a VERY REWARDING challenge, but a challenge just the same. This group was created to help us get even more out of our daily spiritual practice by coming together on a weekly basis to share what we are receiving through our reading and meditation time. Lead by Religious Science Practitioners (RScP) licensed by the Centers for Spiritual Living. These Practitioners have invested at least 4 years studying the teachings and philosophies of Ernest Holmes, Raymond Charles Barker, and others which are known as "Science of Mind" or "Religious Science". Religious Science is inclusive of all other major religions... "None are wrong. Each is incomplete without each other." Throughout 2019, we will be following an outline that will lead us through daily readings from "The Science of Mind Textbook - The Definitive Edition" by Ernest Holmes. The outline we are following can be found at http://www.cslmidtown.org/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/The-Science-of-Mind-Textbook-in-One-Year-Handout.pdf. NOTE: You can order the book by following these steps... 1. Go to http://www.CSLMidtown.com 2. Click on [What We Believe] 3. Click on [AmazonSmile] 4. Search on the book's name or ISBN number: ISBN-10:[masked] Prerequisites for this Study Group: None really. However, it would be nice if you purchased the book, downloaded the PDF of the outline, and invested 15 minutes or so completing your readings each day of the week. We will meet on Sunday mornings and discuss the 7 readings starting from the previous Sunday through the Saturday (Some people like to do their readings at night. No "spoilers" here.) Format of the Study Group: 10:00 Welcome 10:05 Opening Treatment (Affirmative Prayer) 10:10 Roundtable Discussion / Mastermind 10:40 Wrap-Up and Announcements 10:45 Closing Treatment 10:50 Head to General Services NOTE: If you don't have your book yet, or if you have not been able to complete all of your readings / spiritual practice for the week, come and join us anyway. Simply by sitting in with this group of people your life will be blessed. More about Center for Spiritual Living - Midtown Atlanta Visit: http://www.CSLMidtown.com
