See you at the NYC Scratch Educator Meetup on Saturday!

New York, NY
Hi everyone,

Thanks for registering for the Inaugural NYC Scratch Educator Meetup. We're really excited to see you!
If you are no longer able to attend, please update your RSVP status so we have a more accurate headcount.
A few notes:

Time and Location
The event will take place this Saturday, March 15 from 10am to 2pm at the Center for Social Innovation, 601 West 26th Street (@ 11th Ave) on the third floor (Suite 325). Please call me (Cindy) at 347.692.8620 if you have any problems accessing the building.

Transportation
There is no parking available in the building so you can try street parking or look here: http://nyc.bestparkin.... We're a few blocks from the 23rd stop (C, E, 1) or the 28th 1 stop. There is also the 23rd street crosstown bus if you are coming from the east side.

What to Bring
Please bring a laptop for hands-on activities. (Please note that Scratch does not work on iPads or other tablets.)

About the Format
If you're new to the meetup format, here's what they are and how they work. Meetups are informal gatherings for educators who work with (or are interested in working with) Scratch. The meetup will be organized into several parts:
* 10:00-10:30am Registration and informal networking over coffee and breakfast.
* 10:30-11:15am Introduction to Scratch and the meetup format, collaboratively developing the meetup breakout sessions schedule.
* 11:15-12:00pm Breakout session 1. Golden rule of meetups: feel free to move between groups if the session that you're in isn't working for you!
* 12:00-12:45pm Breakout session 2.
* 12:45-2:00pm Lunch, informal sharing and discussions.

Questions
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to email me at cindy@csnyc.org.

Looking forward to seeing everyone!
Cheers,
Cindy
