How do you fund a startup?

It's a simple question but the answer is anything but. With startups, funding is particularly difficult because there is so much inherent uncertainty in a startup that most banks and even investors will not even consider writing a check. What's an entrepreneur supposed to do then? It would be great if you could find out the answer from someone who has been there, done that and, fortunately for you, we have someone who fits that bill.

David M. Ochi is that person. He's a professor of entrepreneurship at UC Irvine and he knows the funding process inside and out as both an entrepreneur and as an investor. In this seminar, David will draw on his extensive experience in this space to help the audience understand the intricacies of the investment process and provide a framework that startup founders can use to give themselves their best chance at landing that big check.

Lunch will be served and we hope to see you there!
