Faith Development Friday

Community Unitarian Universalist Congregation at White Plains

Once a month we gather for an evening of learning, spiritual growth, and community. At 6:15pm we share a Pizza & Salad Community Dinner; at 7:00pm Programs begin; at 8:30pm we have Coffee and time to chat. Programs include: Adult Religious Education “Faith Like a River” is a program that explores the people, ideas, and movements that have shaped our Unitarian Universalist faith heritage. What lessons do the stories of our history teach that can help us live more faithfully in the present? What lessons do they offer to be lived into the future? Youth Social Night High school youth can hang out in the Youth Room for a night of fun. Gnomes welcome. Family Journey Group Parents gather to discuss the monthly journey group theme (facilitated by Barbara Montrose), while children have their own group with activities and discussion based on the same theme (facilitated by Perry Montrose, Director of Faith Development). Adults without children are invited to participate in either Adult RE and Family Journey Group. Adults may also come for unstructured social time together. All are welcome after the programs for coffee and talk. RSVP by Friday 12:00 noon to [masked].
