TITS by Prof G - A Lecture Comedy

The Truth about TITS will be revealed in downtown New York!

Turkish Prof Bade Gediklioglu (aka Prof G) has been in New York City for her research on the social importance of female breasts, she prefers to call them TITS! Now is the time for her lecture series in which she will uncover not only her studies plus her own identity.

TITS by Prof G is a lecture comedy written and performed by Ege Maltepe, a Turkish actress who studied acting under the guidance of Mike Nichols in New York City. “The whole idea for the show started as a joke; a weird and extremely serious Turkish professor is in New York City. She’s obsessed with her research on breasts and keeps calling them tits!” says Maltepe and adds, “However as I started to dig into the subject, I realized that I’ve hit an iceberg. Everyone had a story to tell! “

“I sometimes resemble a woman’s cleavage to the curves of the brain.” says Prof G, the professor of the female body, “Because tits themselves own their own brains. They have the power to control a woman and people around her. Nipples are there to point out important things in life. They are surprising, they’re fascinating!”

The show has a pink ribbon on. Prof G will perform a self-exam during her lecture, to raise awareness for breast cancer. “Current researches on breast cancer incidence rates are too serious to be ignored” says Ege Maltepe. (Watch Prof G during AVON Breast Cancer Awareness Walk)

TITS by Prof G has premiered in VirtualArtsTV’s WiredArts Fest – a live-stream performance festival which helped Maltepe reach her audience in Europe. Now Prof G says “Due to high demand from my students and followers of the specific subject I decided to give this lecture again, this time in a cafe in downtown” TITS by Prof G will feature in Theatrical Matinees in Caffe Vivaldi.

Thank you for understanding, Ege. Would it be ok if you and I exchanged cell phone numbers next Friday? I would like to txt you so that you would know what I look like when I come into the Caffe. And is there a Starbucks or anyplace nearby? I would like to do some writing after the show is over. Or would the Caffe allow me to stay and work on my netbook there? And do they sell any food there?
