The Anvil - Science Museum "The Energy Show!"

Come and see this explosive show for curious minds ... it's fast, furious and dangerously exciting! Science Museum Live presents The Energy Show: explosive family theatre for curious minds.

Methane bubbles are set alight to make fireballs, hydrogen balloons explode and rockets are fired into the audience. Stand back and cover your ears – theatre just got dangerously exciting!

Two futuristic science students race against time to prove their knowledge of energy. With help from the incredible virtual lab-assistant, i-nstein, and a steampunk workshop full of gadgets and chemicals, they explore, experiment and explode anything and everything they can find, live on stage.

Produced by the world famous Science Museum in London, this show is suitable for everyone aged 7+.

Meet in the Anvil lower bar area at 6.40pm for a drink before the show ... look for the Meetup table tent sign.

Tickets: £16; under 16s: £13; family ticket (2+2): £52. Ticket prices include £1 booking fee. Group booking discount available - please contact the Box Office for more info.

Yes ... I will try and remember to make sure Nick has a copy on Monday for you to collect. Unfortunately I can't be at Cafe Sci on Mon due to a work commitment ... so my co-organizer Nick Clarke will be acting as the duty host for the evening.
