Basingstoke Cafe Sci members are invited to join Basingstoke Talk 5G Meetup group for a "top to tail" look at the current state of the 5G landscape. We welcome Peter Curnow-Ford industry veteran and founder of Viatec Associates to talk about everything from technology developments and Spectrum to Government initiatives and the UK's role in 5G.

Peter's talk will cover key areas of 5G including:

Peter will also provide an overview of where Britain sits in the 5G landscape, the key funding opportunities, how the current winners are doing and the 2 new 'much bigger calls - Urban and Rural. He will also highlight Digital Manufacturing/Industry 4.0 and how industry sees 5G being a key technology and how they might deploy it (with or without an MNO)
