  • Time for our next individual challenge!

For this challenge, the theme is Food Photography.

The objective is to get a really good shot of food and you should try to utlize natural light and depth of field.

In this challenge you will be exercising your creativity working with a narrow depth of field, using an aperture of F/4 or lower. You can experiment using different focal lengths to control the depth of field.

here are some great tips.  http://www.diyphotography.net/15-awesome-food-photography-tips/

When you post your photos, please indicate the settings used (ISO, aperture, speed, and focal length).  Upload photos to this album.

Please note, this is not a meetup where people actually get together, it is a personal assignment for members to participate in on their own.

I want people to always work improve their photography in this group, and I want us each to challenge ourselves through self and shared criticism of the images.

When you post your images, please also provide a few comments about it. Like where the photo was taken, the camera settings and lens used. Also tell us what you like about the image, and how you think you could improve the image.

There are some rules you must follow:

    1. You must RSVP
    2. Take your photos before the meetup date/time occurs.
    3. Upload only one (your best photo) to the relative meetup album.
    4. Upload your photo any time
    5. Yes, you may edit your photos.
    6. Please comment on each other's photos and offer (friendly) constructive criticism.
    7. Use your imagination and as always, have fun!

I look forward to seeing your results

    Thanks:-)
