Street photography is an art and requires a creative eye, which takes time and practice to develop. I'll guide you along and share some of my tips with you as we walk around downtown Calgary.
Skill Focus: this meetup is focused on observing your environment and finding interesting photographs of people, and overcoming the fear of photographing people when they can see you.
Who is it for: anyone who wants to take better portrait shots
Experience Level: any level
Arrival Time: Plan to arrive five or ten minutes early if possible, so that we can get started without delay.
Meeting Point: Meet at Olympic Plazza, on 8th Ave
Please make sure your battery is fully charged and that you have a
memory card. 17-24mm lens range, or whatever you have.
You must RSVP to attend and please do not rsvp if you do not intend to come. If you RSVP, but can't make it, please remove yourself from the rsvp
list before the meetup so that someone else can get in. If the rsvp list is full, you will automatically be added to the wait list and people on the wait list are automatically transferred to the going list as spots become available.
