Insights about trip leadership and organizing

From: Ken M '.
Sent on: Thursday, October 27, 2011 6:18 PM

I will continue posting some good insights for Trip Leaders from The Mountaineer Books I have been reading on Outdoor Leadership.

They are in the General Forum located inside the Message Board at top of CORA Home page..

I will also be posting an informal social (pub in Kensington) for existing Organizers and those wanting to know more about leading within CORA. The date will be next month just have to look at the schedule for the month.

I am currently upgrading my First-aid this weekend to St John's Standard as well as Wilderness First-Aid. This might be something any leaders without first-aid should consider as we may have to make at least Wilderness First-Aid mandatory if we move to insure organizers and volunteers. You should want to have this anyway.

Cheers,

Ken M. 'Cutter'
