Nov.-Dec. Critique / Peer Review

  • Needs a location

  • Nov- Dec 16  Photo Critique/ Photo Peer Review.

This site is intended for peer review.  How does it work?  Post photos you wish others to comment on, and let us know what kind of feedback you are looking for.  It's a great way to improve your photographic skills.  Provide information on the usual camera settings (focal length, aperture, time, stop), processing info, and the story behind the picture (for example my first attempt to capture the moon, stampede action, a portrait of my granddaughter ...get the picture? ). You will get the best feedback if you let us know what you were trying to achieve, and you have a specific question for the rest of us to consider.

People viewing the photos here are encouraged to provide feedback, no matter what your level of experience.  How does the photo impact you!  Look for the positive, such as good use of colour, or composition. Try to keep your comments light hearted, yet honest. If it is a WoW picture try to express why that is so.  There are no right or wrong answers.

As facilitator of this forum, I will be an active participant. If I say anything that offends you, I apologize in advance. Please send me a note and tell me .

Glen. Great introduction. I think by now that everyone knows that you and I are a pair of crusty old geologists. Having said that I would like to piggyback on your comment re offending people. We have a lot of talented photographers in the club and I have enjoyed looking at their photos and learning from them. If I talk re cropping or straightening horizons it is simply for one reason-to help turn photos from good to great!!. Have fun everybody.
