9 and Dine at oxbow.
The Nine: What a great course in perfect shape. Far to good for the likes of us in my opinion. The greens look perfect. I suspect they don't get a lot of people out there and even less than that can hit a green. The first and second cut are lushy green so bomb and shank it to your hearts content. Be warned though, no foliage to save your melon from our buddies on the opposing hole. This is really a novice friendly course.
The Dine: It's a burger and fries joint for the most part. I hear tell they have chicken fingers for the daring. When you RSVP, make sure to post up whether you would prefer a grilled chicken burger instead of beef. They will accommodate us on that, but I need to pass it on before hand.
It is a little far off, one RR this side of Srathmore but it's a straight shot up 16 Ave NE and the fields are in full bloom. There is a driving range at the Strathmore GC just at the edge of town, barely 3 minutes from Oxbow with grass Tee's and a decent pro shop if needed.
We can carpool for those without a ride or those without the gas. I would suggest meeting at McCall GC for that, huge parking lot there and our derelict vehicles will go unnoticed I'm sure.
I will be at the Strathmore GC range from 11:30 am until almost 1:30, then off to Oxbow.
* I reserved for 12 spots but that can be increased if need be and with enough notice.
