What we're about

California Redwood Chorale is a 45-voice SATB choir. We perform in the Bay Area and travel around the world. All singers who read music are encouraged to contact us!

CRC is a very friendly group with a talented and cheerful director, Robert Hazelrigg. We'd love to have additional members ...especially tenors and basses! Our rehearsals are laced with learning and laughter. Stop by at the space we rent at the 1st Presbyterian Church at 939 B St. in Petaluma. Rehearsals are from 1 - 3 pm. California Redwood Chorale sings Goodnight Moon and more!

Glaser Center

California Redwood Chorale is singing a delightful selection from alive American composers. Hear "Goodnight Moon" by Eric Whitacre, based on the children's book. Be thrilled by Morten Lauridsen's "O Magnum Mysterium". Get in a great mood hearing "The Luckiest" by Ben Folds, as arranged for VOCES8. Bay Area composer, Michael Kaulkin, set Yiddish folksong "Tumbalalyka" for SATB. Up and coming American composer, Joshua Shank, arranged a mesmerizing song called "Naalah", in Persian, for oboe and choir, sung in Persian. We have solo duets including "I Will never Leave You" from the play, "Side Show" and "You Raise Me Up" made famous by Josh Groban. All this and more! Directed by Gage Purdy. Accompanied by John Hazelrigg. https://californiaredwoodchoraleApril28.brownpapertickets.com And at the door.
