    Join our Wednesday regulars for an 'easy' graded social ride, suitable for adults who want to cycle with a group at a leisurely pace. A warm welcome is always given to new participants. The group leave at 10.15am and aim to return by 1pm, including time for a rest stop, which usually involves tea/coffee and cake! This social ride is facilitated by CamGlen Bike Town volunteers and voluntary ride leaders. Build up your confidence on a bike. Meet other cyclists. Free loan bikes available if you live in G72 or G73 and you don’t have your own (If it's your 1st time please bring photo and address ID). Please arrive at 10am if you wish to borrow a bike and by 10.15am if you are bringing your own. This ride leaves from our premises at 5 Thomson Court, G73 2RR Please note this is not a guided ride, participants should bring appropriate clothing, carry spares and be self sufficient and are responsible for their own safety including obeying all road traffic laws.

    Need to fix your bike but lack a few essential tools? Then come along to our FREE weekly Fix Your Own Bike Sessions. We provide you with use of a bicycle repair stand, access to our bike tool library and lubricants, all at no cost to you. Any new or refurbished parts used must be paid for. Whilst we're happy to provide friendly support, advice, guidance and encouragement we'd like to make it clear that this is not a free one to one session with a mechanic. You are expected to complete the work yourself. This is free service is funded under climate challenge funding and is provided to helping you to reduce your carbon footprint by cycling instead of driving. Some tasks like hydraulic brake servicing may require specialist parts or equipment, which we may not have in stock. If you are unsure about anything, give us a call on[masked] or come and chat to us. We are happy to provide bike repairs and servicing at reasonable cost if you decide that fixing bikes isn't your thing or the job needing done requires a qualified bike mechanics expertise. If you would like to learn how to maintain your own bike we also offer bike maintenance workshops where you can learn how to repair and keep your bike in tip top condition. If you have a larger project like stripping, building or rebuilding a bike then please get in touch, we can help you with a stand for a half or full day session.
