PRIVATE AND SEMI-PRIVATE CLASSES - Instruction for individuals and small groups is available in most program areas. Learn more here.
CERTIFICATE PROGRAMS - North Bennet Street School and Massachusetts College of Art and Design offer a joint Furniture Design Certificate Program . Students who enroll in this program benefit from the unique expertise, faculty and equipment at both institutions.
SCHOOL PARTNERSHIP - NBSS partners with several local middle schools and high schools to provide workshops to students during the school day and after school.
INSTRUCTORS - North Bennet Street School workshops are taught by accomplished professionals and master craftspeople, including many who are graduates of NBSS full-time programs. Lectures, demonstrations, and bench exercises are combined to provide students with a range of information and practical experience. Please visit our instructor bio page for more information.
FACILITIES - Workshops are held year round at the new facility at 150 North Street. Class hours are 8:30 am - 4:30 pm for most daytime classes, and 6:00 pm - 9:30 pm for evening classes.
