In the News: Talking About a Headline - 50 minutes - £10
These classes are designed around a news headline and will give you the following: vocabulary, phrases and sentences for exploring the topic (both specific and general for using everyday), opportunities for discussion, personal error correction and lots of support in expressing opinions.
The class is 50-minutes long and paper materials containing all the presented language are provided to take home.
What: A small group class in which you will learn and become happy and confident using new language because you see, hear, say, understand and practise it again and again in different contexts.
How: This class is both a discussion class and a repetition class where the teacher leads controlled repetition exercises and corrects your errors. It is a fast way to learn and use new language. If you want to speak freely and practice language in discussion, Class 3 of the day is also good.
Why: To speak like a Cambridge native ;-) By the end of the class you will become a happy, confident user of the new language in a variety of contexts.
Who: The teacher is experienced, precise and friendly but loves correcting errors!
Each class includes:
• Lots of important language/skills advice
• Common errors and error correction
• Tips for clear, natural pronunciation and intonation
• Tips for impressing your colleagues, clients, friends and families!
• Materials containing all the presented language to take away.
Price and payment: £10 per class or book all three classes in one day for £25. Payment is in advance. Please contact me if you experience a problem paying with PayPal.
See you there! :-)
Please note: I advise all attending students to be B1 or higher. C2/near-native English learners will also find these classes very useful because of their colloquial nature.
