What we're about

CambridgeSpace is a co-working office and community based in Cambridge. We run our space on a volunteer basis and our members benefit from a supportive community of fellow co-workers - we give each other help, support, company, professional advice, and an escape from back bedrooms, home offices and cafes, together with jokes, banter and occasional storytelling.
We run regular events on a range of subjects and topics, from professional and personal development to our famous Cake O'Clock and members lunches.

How to be a Parent and an Entrepreneur (without losing your mind)

Cambridge University Rugby Union Football Club

Are you a parent and an entrepreneur? Do you struggle to combine the two? On paper it sounds great being able to manage your own time and have the flexibility to fit work around the school run. But what about when you’re trying to take a call and the kids are arguing in the background, or you have to work into the evening to meet a deadline? How do you set boundaries between work and parenting when you work from home? Our next panel event will feature a panel of parent entrepreneurs discussing the benefits and the challenges of being self-employed and a parent, overlap of skills like leadership and organisation, and how to get the most out of both.
