What we're about

We are a new group looking to launch January next year (so join to register your interest and be the first to hear about any updates) The group is inspired by one of my personal training clients who wanted to tick the box and run her first 5k race but had no friends to convince to do it with her! I already have a number of clients (most of whom have no running experience) who want to join the club and start working towards doing a 5k race that we will all be doing together. We are currently looking at a number of events, including fun runs and ones with obstacles, so that everyone if they wish can pick a goal to work towards. We will also be looking to open the club up to social runs and 10k+ races. So if you want to be part of this please feel free to join and then let me know via messages your goals for joining. All runs will be outside and will be lead by two Personal Trainers (one leading the group and one at the end). Everyone will be able to pace themselves between the two trainers and no one, no matter how slow, will be left behind. After all we all have to start somewhere!! All runners will be given reflective bibs to wear for the runs and the trainers will be easily distinguishable by their personalised bibs. We can also offer advice on running gear, training outside the group and nutrition. Please feel free to share this group with anyone you think might be interested. The more people, the more groups (so we can specialise according to people's goals and abilities) and of course the chance to meet some fantastic like minded people!! (we will be having social events too - team bonding after all is crucial!) Looking forward to meeting you all soon!

Hi guys! Lovely to see so many of you interested already. I am in the process of hiring a PT who is an endurance expert so that we are fully equipped as a club to make sure you have the best set up possible. As soon as the kit and trainers are sorted I will look to move the start date up for anyone who might want people to run with over the darker months. In the meantime I have been asked by some members to organise a social so that fellow runners can meet before the club starts (I organise socials for my personal training clients and they are really popular), so if you are interested please click attending. 5K

For those with some running fitness who are close to or are able to run 5k. We will aim to do distances of around 5k and also incorporate some running drills to improve fitness.

5-10k

Needs a location

For more experienced runners looking to run slightly longer distances and use a mixture of longer runs and drills to push their levels upwards and even work towards 10k+ races.
