Just a quick reminder**** The meeting will begin at 10am when the library opens. However, the presentation will start at 10:15am. So, I hope you all can be there at 10 on the dot. This way, we won't have walk ins during the presentation. There will a brief intro by me. Then, Jennifer will begin. Her presentation will be 30 minutes long, followed by a 15 minute Q & A. After we sign off, it is your choice to stay around for a "post speaker discussion". Since we'll have the room, we might as well make use of it. Thank You.
Join us at the Camden County Library on July 13th in Voorhees Meeting Room - B where we will be having a Q & A via webcam with special guest speaker and fellow Humanist Jen Hancock. Jen Hancock is the author of The Humanist Approach to Happiness: Practical Wisdom, Jen Hancock's Handy Humanism Handbook, The Bully Vaccine, and
The Humanist Approach to Happiness Life Skills Course.
By sharing her pragmatic Humanist approach to living life fully and intentionally, Jennifer has transformed the lives of those who have been touched by her work. By encouraging people be the best, most ethical humans they can be, she consistently challenges people to think about and question who they are, what they are and more importantly, how they want to be.
She is one of the few individuals in America who was raised as a Humanist and she brings her delightful sense of humor, creativity, and compassion combined with a no-nonsense approach to all of her work and her coaching. She will help you focus on what really matters in your life and will teach you the practical skills you need to live your life the way you know you should be: ethically, compassionately and responsibly.
If you are not familiar with her work, feel free to visit her sites. The links are provided above. Her books are also available in paperback on Amazon.
Even though the meeting is scheduled to be 4 hours long, I assure you we won't be there that long. I just reserved the room for a lengthy time to cover my bases. The Q & A will begin shortly after the start of the meeting. We will need time to set up. Most likely 10:30am we will being. (Times subject to change)
