The idea is to drive into the Bugaboos after work on the Friday. Climb a longer route on Saturday (Pigeon, Bugaboo or even Snowpatch) and an easier one like Pigeon, Crescent or Eastpost Spire on Sunday and drive home. A big weekend...but hey this is a world class place.
This is generally multi-pitch trad routes in the alpine that may require glacier approaches.
We will stay in the Kain Hut $25/night.
Preference to those with RC1, 2, or 3 and CR1 or CR2. Other trad leaders welcome.
Gear: helmet, harness, belay device (not GriGri), non-dyneema slings, locking carabiners, prussiks, wind/rain shell, sunscreen, sunglasses, ice axe, crampons, mountaineering boots, rock climbing shoes, and approach shoes for the 8km hike in.
