A11y Bytes (http://a11ybytes.org/) is a series of community-driven events and initiatives to raise the profile of digital accessibility in support of Global Accessibility Awareness Day (http://globalaccessibilityawarenessday.org/) (GAAD). Canberra is pleased to be joining A11y Bytes as part of GAAD. Please come join the Canberra accessibility community for a night of lightning talks.

Location: PwC Canberra. The event is also running in Melbourne and Sydney.

We are looking for speakers for A11y Bytes. Presentations are only 10 - 15 minutes. If you have a great idea you would like to share, please submit your presentation idea (http://a11ybytes.org/a11y-bytes-speakers/). This can be anything accessibility related - from accessibility governance in your organisation, how to write accessible content, accessible playgrounds and more.

Registrations for A11y Bytes will open the beginning of May at the A11y Bytes (http://a11ybytes.org/) website.
PS: There will also be an A11y Camp (http://a11ybytes.org/a11y-camp/), to be held on Wednesday 22 July at the Australian Technology Park in Sydney. This is like a barcamp/unconference, but semi structured.
