Hello dear visitor. Allow me to start with a brief introduction. This Meetup is an experiment to see if anyone out there may share in my passion for beauty found in classical music. I have been looking for such a group within my broader area of existing Meetups, but couldn't quite find what I hoped for.
Accordingly, the aim of this group is to bring together people who are interested in, enjoy or draw inspiration from classical music and opera. To have an opportunity to gather and attend various potentially enriching (and reasonably priced) performances from time to time, with the option of having friendly discussions as well, sharing impressions, opinions, related knowledge, further ideas etc. with each other about these experiences.
If you find that it resonates with you in some way, feel free to join in this new adventure and contribute to mutual learning, shared cultural enjoyment and the embracing of life through music.
here is another upcoming event, worth attending. I have seen a couple of English touring opera performances, and found them good.
There is a show talk before the performance for those who wish to know more about the opera. It is free to attend, but needs to be booked in advance.
Regarding the performance itself, please book your tickers of preferred place and price (see inserted link).
Please see further details below.
