September Hike?

From: Bruce T.

Wanted to check to see the interest in a hike in September. We Canucks need to get back to our natural habitat. I was thinking of a Saturday in central Mass on the main ridge trail at Mt Tom, just north of Mt Holyoke.

This hike is about 4 miles long, moderately difficult. Will require good hiking boots, and a day pack. Would take 2.5-3 hrs. (Max elevation is 1200 ft). This trip is for those that have hiked before and are in good shape. Good views of the Berkshires, and Mt Holyoke range.

Was thinking of September 12,or if anyone is around on the 5th, leave at 9am. My car has 3 spaces. Would need other rides if more people.
Lunch in trendy Northampton after would be a good plan to follow up the hike.

Let me know if you're interested.

p.s. Winter is coming soon!
