Keeper Pothole Workshop
For many canyoneers, the ultimate in canyon obstacles is the Keeper Pot Hole. Whether wet or dry, deep and or wide, these bizarre stone features have thwarted many canyon adventures.
Yes! We have scheduled this course in August so that folks can stay in water for long periods of time without getting cold. Don't forget your wetsuit!!
Join EOE for two days of intensive pothole training and begin learning the skill sets to master these human traps. Escalante is blessed with canyon “keepers” of nearly every shape and size imaginable, allowing participants to experience for themselves the true variety of pothole “problems” that exist.
Take a couple of days and turn these intimidating obstacles into one more canyon experience that is manageable and looked forward to with confidence and enthusiasm...One you may ultimately seek out with enthusiasm!
The first morning begins at 8AM and ends around 5pm-6pm. The second day begins at 8:00AM and ends between 5pm-6pm. This course has a 12 person maximum, 10 Students and 2 Instructors.
$325 Per Person includes all necessary gear (except wetsuits), lunch each day and coffee/tea each morning. 3 person minimum to conduct workshop.
