What we're about

Shambhala Training is a secular approach to meditation developed by Tibetan Buddhist teacher Chogyam Trungpa and his students. It is based on what on the Shambhala Vision, which sees enlightened society as realizable by people of all faiths through practices of mindfulness/awareness, non-aggression, and sacred outlook. Shambhala welcomes people from all walks of life, faiths, and backgrounds. They come together to practice meditation, gather, and celebrate in order to develop a global culture that cultivates dignity and sanity in an increasingly chaotic and stressful world.
