What level paddler are you? Never tried it but want to, beginner and been out a few times, intermediate-kayak regularly, dangerously experienced!

Since I taught myself intuitively and didn't get lots of training, I will classify myself as somewhere between beginner to intermediate, even though I've been doing it for more than 5 years.

Do you own a kayak, and if so, what kind?

Yup, a happy blue Olde Towne Otter kayak :-)

Where is your favorite place to kayak?

So far: locally: Dunham Resevoir, and a bit afield: up on the Raquette River.

Do you take responsibility for your own safety and agree to abide by the posted rules for each event?

I do :-). And I recently got a headlamp (for christmas), so I can now participate in evening paddles.

Tell us a little about yourself and paddling history!

Hi. My name is Anna. I love the outdoors; I love kayaking. One of my favorite quotes from a favorite singer-songerwriter is: "There's so much beauty around us, but just two eyes to see / Everywhere I go / I'm lookin'."
