Resolving Stylistic Tension in Communication

Patrick Troy of LMS Recruiting will be teaching on how to communicate with people's whose communication style differs from yours. Heidi Cooper and Apoorva McIntosh will role play various scenarios.

The first session will deal with various communication styles. Active listening skills will be taught and practiced.

The second session will help you increase your flexibility to switch from one communication style to other communication styles. People will have needed to take the free online Disc Assessment found at xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.

This session is geared for people who have been through the fundamentals of the job search process. The room (and fire marshall) limits the number of people who could attend this session.

    Great session - I agree with Rebecca, if Patrick had any recommendations for follow-up activities, that would be appreciated.

    Great session - I've never been disappointed in any of the BJSP presentations I've attended. First rate. This topic is complex and I would have liked to have had more time with Patrick. If he has any recommendations for follow up activities that we can do on our own, that would be fantastic feedeback (websites, books, etc.)
