Selling Skills for Job Seekers

Dennis Shefski a career sales person and sales trainer will be teaching you how to apply basic selling skills to your job search. The job search process is a sales process. Thus an understanding of basic selling skills can only help shorten your job search.

Previous attendees of seminars taught by Dennis appreciated his friendly low key style of teaching.

This will be a 50 minute session repeated twice in the morning. Each attendee will be able to choose two sessions to attend.

Please Note:

1. All attendees are required to dress as if they are going to a formal job interview. For men this means a suit and tie.

2, Please bring multiple copies of your resume with you.

3. Many people show up as early as 8:00 to get one on one help with resumes and other job related issues.

4. BJSP starts promptly at 8:45 AM and ends promptly at 12:00 Noon.

BJSP is a focused service established to train, equip and encourage active  job seekers for successful entry into today's marketplaces.

BJSP operates as a 501C(3) community ministry of Faith in the Family International, Inc. Our policy is that we openly advertise that we are part of a Christian ministry.  Aside from that, we simply are who we are.

All BJSP seminars are presented free of charge to job seekers

This was an excellent presentation on networking. Dennis Shefski is an engaging presenter who sincerely wants to help job seekers achieve their goals. He gave a very helpful list of places to network and strong encouragement to reach and meet many other people as part of the job search. It would be helpful to offer a "Part 2" on the topic of selling skills for job seekers that would provide technical instruction, such as devising an engaging "elevator speech."

Thank you to Mr. Shefski for his in-depth knowledge of how to look inward and sell yourself.
