Financial Advice for Job Seekers: You are not Alone

Bonnie Young has spearheaded a highly comprehensive seminar to help you with most financial questions which you might have as a job seeker. You are not alone with the financial issues which you  face. Our experts want to provide the best advice they can to help you stretch your money as far as possible.

Mike May is a 30 year professional Financial Planner with Lincoln Financial. He has taught on a variety of financial issues for many years. Mike also leads the Post BJSP Discussion Group twice a month.

Tom Wartha is a veteran Real Estate agent with ReMax. He has spoken at BJSP many times.

Will Gaines is a Mortgage and Credit expert. He works with 1st Portfolio Lending. Will have volunteered with BJSP several times in the past.

Tom Butler is a CPA. He founded Accumen Accounting in 2008.

Clint Brodgen has a background in psychology and will be available to help.

Please treat this seminar as a job interview. Arrive dressed in business attire. For men this means suit and tie. Also, bring copies of your resume. While professional recruiters might not be in attendance, you never know who you will met.

Beltway Job Search Partners is a business education organization with a Christian component.

An excellent program with experts representing financial planning, real estate, mortgages, accounting,
and a life coach. Very interactive session, as the panel let the participants ask questions, vs. "canned" presentations. In addition to providing advice, they also explained that there are many community resources available to assist. Thanks to the panel for their time, and to Bonnie and Robert for organizing. Well worth the time to attend.

I am looking forward to hearing from these experts. In today's economy, everyone has financial questions and concerns, including, but not limited, to those of us who are in career/job transitions. This is a highly valuable service being provided at no charge to people in our community.
