What we're about

We are a group of travelers who love to travel both domestically and internationally by air, sea, land, and river. We love to explore new destinations and experience new things.

We started in Solana Beach, CA and have chapters joining us across the country. You will see local events in other areas pop-up in this Meetup as we cross promote. If you are in the area when a local event is taking place we encourage you to come along and meet others from different chapters. You never know where you will meet your next travel buddies.

We will be enjoying many great adventures including local staycation adventures (day/night activity), weekend getaways (2-3 nights) and national & international destinations (5-21 nights).

The longer adventure trips (7+ nights) will be designed to travel together as a group to take advantages of group deals. We will build in time at each destination for you to be able to explore on your own. Where possible we plan on staying in each town/city we visit for at least 2 nights maybe more. There will be one group activity included, then you are free to explore by yourself or team up with your fellow adventurers and explore together. We welcome your suggestions for destinations to visit.

Twice a year we will travel down under to New Zealand and Australia. These itineraries will concentrate on specific regions within each country and will be open ended so you can extend your trip either before or after our planned adventure.

For those with interests like wine, food, golf, history, culture, car racing, music, Christmas markets, New Year's, festivals, etc. we will be including theme based trips. These adventures will be designed around the interest. For example it could wine river cruise in Europe where we learn about the art of making wine from a winemaker, visit vineyards, learning food paring, tasting techniques, etc. or it could be an wine adventure weekend to Napa or Temecula. How about a craft beer cruise in the Pacific Northwest, learning US history with a land and sea adventure on the East Coast, or it could be exploring the wonders of the Grand Canyon, maybe a getaway spa weekend, or enjoying a music festival. The list is endless and we are only limited by our imagination on where we can go and what we can see. We welcome your suggestions.

Once a month we will meet, talk travel, discuss upcoming adventures, and highlight one destination.

We will include at least one fundraising cruise a year for a 501(c)(3) charity, to be chosen each year.

We look forward to exploring our world with you.
