What we're about

We aspire to be an active community of creative artists supporting and inspiring each other. To foster this kind of community means a little effort on your part. In order to join or stay in this group, you must have a descriptive profile with a recognizable photo of yourself (preferable), or a picture of your artwork, instrument or craft, or a logo. You also must use at least your first name. Thanks for understanding.

"The Artist's Way" by Julia Cameron is a book that created a new paradigm in personal growth over 20 years ago. This process is not just for artists, but for everyone. You may just awaken the latent creativity lurking deep inside you. You may discover a more spiritual perspective to creativity as well. Whatever you find in this process, it will make positive changes in your life.

This meetup will support your work with the Artist's Way book and introduce some new tools and ideas that are not in the book. We hope you will be inspired to give back to this community by being an active member and sharing what you have learned on your path to creative recovery. We as creatives need community to keep our creative energy alive and well!

If you're new to the Artist's Way, we recommend that you get the book and read about the basic tools (morning pages and artists' dates) and read the first chapter. A book study group may already be in progress, but you're always welcome to ask questions about anything in the book at meetups and spark new discussions.

We look forward to sharing this creative journey with you!
