Nicole leads this awesome class every Saturday morning! This class is for all-levels and is a flow-type format. You will experience strengthening poses, stretching poses and have some time for meditation.
At Total Zen Yoga, our intention is to provide practitioners an opportunity to get to know their body and to be themselves in a group of like-minded people. We have no desire to put ourselves on a pedestal. Our intention is to share our enthusiasm for the practice and our open hearts with the yoga-curious friends who come to share space. We offer floatation at our space (sensory deprivation tanks) as well and you can schedule a floatation session before or after yoga (a wonderful extended savasana). Floating tunes you into your Self through sensory withdrawal, while yoga brings you into harmony by working out tension. Both "therapies" draw toxins out of your body. The cleaner and clearer our bodies are, the clearer our mind is. Floatation frees your mind and relaxes your body, while yoga frees your body and relaxes your mind. They are a perfect couple. Yoga classes are all 60-minutes and have a maximum capacity of 10 people. With this smaller group, classes are designed on-the-spot based on the students' needs and comfort level. Our instructors are consistent practitioners with a true passion for all aspects of yoga (there's a lot more to it than just the poses) and are happy to accommodate. Private lessons are available by appointment only on Tuesdays, Thursdays and times when there are no classes throughout the week. There are no classes on Sundays, though the space is available for personal use. Floating sessions are either 60 or 90-minutes and are appointment-based only.
