This is a hidden gem being the only public access to this beautiful pond. I spent about three years driving by this pond saying "I wish I could get in there with my kayak" thinking there was no public access before meeting someone that lives nearby who told me about the access at the Alfred C Durgin Preserve off Clement Way in Lee, NH. There is a hill from the parking lot to the water about 50' long, but we'll help each other and it wont be an issue.
I'm interested in paddling after work from about 5:30 and planning on getting off the water by dark.
Some of the places I'm thinking about paddling are:
Stonehouse Pond in Barrington, NH
Pawtuckaway Lake from Fundy Cove in Deerfield, NH
Great Pond (Kingston Pond) in Kingston, NH
Greenwood Pond in Kingston, NH
Bellamy Reservoir in Madbury, NH
Wheelwright Pond in Lee, NH
I'm also open to suggestions and ideas on other places, but looking to stay in the Southeastern New Hampshire area or bordering areas.
Kayak rentals are available, use the code midweek, to save $5.00 off the cost of kayak rental.
