Join us for a relaxing, easy-paced paddle to Minute Man National Park in Concord, MA, the cradle of liberty for our country. We'll launch on the Concord River at the Carlisle Road boat launch in Bedford, MA. From there, we'll paddle up river to the park, where we'll stop for a lunch/snack break and have the opportunity to check out the Independence Day events. FYI, this park is the site of the Old North Bridge and the statue commemorating the "shot heard round the world." Any kayak or canoe is OK for this paddle, as it will be an easy, 9-mile round trip done at a moderate pace.

Important Note: Address is only an approximation for GPS navigation. When your GPS tells you you've arrived, look for a long driveway nestled in the trees and heading toward the river.

Post-Paddle Food & Libations:
The British Beer Company is just a short drive away. We gone there in the past and it was great. If you're interested in joining us, let me know, so I can get a rough head count to give the restaurant staff.
