Hey we've all been there. You're getting basketball jones, but are having trouble finding a good way to jump back in. Maybe you're new to the area, maybe you're in your 30s/40s and your old crew fell off the radar, or maybe you busted up your knee a few years ago and want to ease back into it (yep, that's me). If this hits home, I've got the meet-up group for you.
Format is simple, let's grab a minimum of 4-6 people and get some half-court going outside. Location is likely at one of the Southie courts, but that's flexible if someone has a better option in mind.
Here's what we're looking for in participants: - Know the basics of dribbling, passing and shooting (if you don't need two hands to dribble and can throw a bounce pass, you're good) - Don't be a ball hog (if you identify with Carmelo Anthony or James Harden, this probably isn't the group for you) - No D-bags
