What we're about

The Catawba Valley Tea Party (CVTP) meets the 2nd Thursday of each month at the Conover YMCA Sparkman Building (Red Barn) meeting facility at 6:30pm.

The patriots of the Catawba Valley Tea Party are dedicated to restoring our great nation to a constitutional republic by following the Judeo-Christian principles exercised by our founding fathers. Guided by the 9 Principles and 12 Values working in our community and offering education, discussion forums and by joining with other like-minded citizens we will unite our voices to make a difference today and for future generations.

This group is not part of any other political club or party. We are a great bunch of conservatives that will work to elect fellow tea party conservatives. We will research and determine the candidates that best represent our values which may or may not be the status quo. The group will hold all candidates to higher standards and includes spiritual, personal, and professional.

All members are required to uphold the Catawba Valley Tea Party Membership Pledge:

As a member of the Catawba Valley Tea Party, I pledge with the help of God, to live by the Ten Commandments in an effort to bring honor to His name, strengthen relationships within our group, and lead a godly life.

I pledge to uphold the Principles and Values as directed by the The Catawba Valley Tea Party so that we can unite with all Americans and stand as one.

I pledge to attend at least four monthly meetings per year, to participate in group projects, and as citizen of the United States to actively and peacefully pursue the restoration of our Republic to the Judeo-Christian principles of our Founding Fathers and The Constitution of the United States.

I pledge to not post or write negative comments about this tea party and to promote ONLY the Catawba Valley Tea Party.

All membership pledges are subject to review at any time by the executive board. (When we hold ourselves accountable, there’s no need for others to.)
