While enjoying the 5 wines and wonderful food, enjoy the amazing variety of antiques and collectibles at City Antiques (all items available for purchase). Your cost is $12 for everything. At Celebrate we do not just try to tell you that you are getting a great value, we give you the real deal. The wines selected for this event are top rated and diverse. They are sure to fire up the "Wine Enthusiast" in all of you!

Our host, City Antiques & Interiors is your preeminant stop for all things antique in Roswell. The huge space presents a wonderful opportunity to see a vast array of antiques, while enjoying the company of your Celebrate friends. While we could invite a few hundred to this space, we want you to feel at home so we are limiting the size of the event. No trying to stuff as many as possible into a small area, only to be hit by massive lines. You will have plenty of space. Our wine experts will be happy to discuss each wine with you. Our chefs will tell you about the art of cajun/creole cooking.

Adele’s Authentic Cajun Experience brings you down home southern cooking with Cajun ingredients and seasoning, all shipped in fresh daily from New Orleans and the surrounding area.

You can’t talk about New Orleans cuisine without mentioning the Po-boy, and boy does Adele’s do them right! Customer after customer all share the same sentiment no matter which variation of the sandwich they get you are bound to hear it’s the best Po-boy in the state. From the oyster, or shrimp Po-boy to the hot sausage Po-boy it doesn’t matter they are all finger licking good. If Po-boys aren’t your style they have many other glorious Cajun options. The signature seafood gumbo and the Rajun Cajun Jambalaya are also must orders and crowd favorites among the loyal customer base Adele’s has built over the past few years.

While letting the good times roll, take a peek inside Adele’s open kitchen and catch a glimpse of the masters effortlessly preparing the Cajun inspired dishes.

Our wine selections for this evening will be:

Bougrier 'V' Vouvray 2012 - Vouvray, Loire Valley, France - Bottled by Jean Claude Bougrier at his Loire Estate. This Vouvray is medium-bodied. Rich flavors of cream and hazelnut contribute to the slight sweetness that is balanced by acidity. Excellent wine to pair with Fontina cheeses, grapes, apples and strawberries.

Located along the right bank of the Loire River, the Vouvray region is situated on top of a plateau that is dissected by small streams and tributaries of the Loire. Wine making in the Vouvray region was thought to have begun sometime in the 9th century. The climate in the Vouvray region dictates wine production with vintage variation changing due to climate shifts. Cooler climate years shift the production towards drier styles of wine including sparkling Vouvray. Warmer climate years promote the production of sweeter, dessert style wines.

River Road Pinot Gris 2012 - Russian River Valley, Sonoma, CA Rich fruit flavors and hints of minerality combine in this balanced, unoaked Pinot Gris. Aged entirely in stainless steel, this is a delightful wine to pair with fish, poultry or cheeses. This wine is also well balanced enough to have on its own. Crisp with citrus and peach it is a light bodied wine and very refreshing!

Kamiak Rock Lake Red Columbia 2009 - 85 Points - Columbia Valley, WA

Kamiak Rock Lake Red, produced by Gordon Brothers is one of a handful of full estate vineyards in Washington State. The Kamiak Vinyard is located on the estate's southern facing slope of the Snake River in the heart of Washington wine country - the beautiful Columbia Valley. It is a full-bodied and concentrated Bordeaux blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (42%), Merlot (29%), Syrah (24%), and Sangiovese (5%). It is a fresh, easy-going wine that has firm, smooth tannins with a lingering finish. Aromas of smoked anise, violets, rose petal and cherry with hints of juniper berry all balanced by a sweet, toasty oak flavor. This wine was aged for 32 months in both French and American oak barrels, but the wine is so smooth and velvety on the palate you would never think it had spent that much time in oak! This is a versatile wine that will pair well with barbeque, burgers on the grill, and just about any other fare you would like to have.

Renieri Rosso di Montalcino 2010 - 90 Points - Montalcino, Tuscany, Italy The 2010 Rosso di Montalcino is an exotic wine bursting with dark red cherries, plums, spices and new leather. It shows the broad-shouldered style of Sangiovese along with a surprisingly dark expression of fruit. Serve with hearty, meat based sauces, roast chicken or firm, aged cheeses.

Sangiovese is a dark-berried vine and is the most widely planted grape variety in Italy (http://www.wine-searcher.com/regions-italy). "Virtually synonymous with the red wines of Tuscany (http://www.wine-searcher.com/regions-tuscany+%5Btoscana%5D), and all the romanticism that goes with the territory, Sangiovese is the core constituent in some of the great names in Italian wine. Italy’s love affair with Sangiovese – and indeed the world’s – is generations old." Tuscany (Toscana in Italian) is perhaps the most famous of all Italian wine regions. This fact has no doubt been perpetuated by the romance of the region's endless rolling hills and cypress-lined country roads, but it is nonetheless home to some of the world’s most prestigious wines.

Jean Marie Arnoix Vacqueyras 2009 - 93 Points- Rhone, France The Vacqueyras wine is produced from some of the estates oldest vines with a blend of 70% Grenache, 25% Syrah and 5% Mourvedre. A dark, dense red-purple wine with a blend of blackberry, cherry, pepper, and spicy vanilla. Full bodied and slightly chewy with a nice finish. It was aged in foudres and bottled without fining or filtration. A deliciously complex wine and at 93 points amazingly affordable for the exceptional quality. Pair with firm cheeses, pasta dishes and beef. A little on the pricier side for everyday enjoyment, but still within reach for those special occasions!

Please note that City Antiques closes its doors to the public at 6:00 P.M. This is a private event being held after hours for Celebrate Atlanta. No walk-in's will be allowed. To enter, you must be on the "going" list. No exceptions.
