Gluten Free, vegan cooking can be harder than it sounds. Learn from Gluten Free, Vegan expert Chef Jaquy how to make a great meal that doesn't feel like a bunch of side dishes. Chef Jaquy will teach you skills for making entrees that will blow your family and friends minds. You'll get to test out the recipes yourself in class, and then sit down to enjoy the hearty gluten free, vegan meal you've created. This class also will get you to stretch yourself in the kitchen. Chef Jaquy will make sure you learn some important skills to use in many other meals to come.

Description: Jaquy Yngvason is a half Icelandic, half Ecuadorean she was classically trained at Le Cordon Bleu and a certified Plant Based nutritionist through Cornell University. She is a Celiac chef with passion and drive to help others with food allergies by teaching them to love the food they eat no matter what their restrictions might be.

Ever since she was diagnosed with Celiac disease 13 years ago she has been studying nutrition, developing healthy, budget friendly, flavorful, fun recipes, and teaching cooking classes to those in need. Currently she resides in Brooklyn where she hosts an allergy friendly cooking show, teaches personalized cooking classes and is a gluten free, allergy free food consultant.
