This group is for all those interested in Tiny Houses, and a learning/sharing place where we support each other in the process of going Tiny...
Also this is a group for the planning and executing of a Tiny House / Co-housing community within the City of Philadelphia. We would love to have you join us whether you are simply curious or have actual plans to build a tiny home of your own. We are especially interested in building sustainable homes within a defined neighborhood environment in proximity to a larger community in transition.
Our plans are to create the first tiny home community in Philadelphia and are working towards finding the right site, local community/neighborhood, and people to come together to make it happen. This Meetup invites all interested people that can contribute and want to learn about one of the fastest growing sustainable living movements.
Bring your questions, answers, and spirit to this community building group!
Happy Tiny House New Year everyone!
Looking forward to a great 2019 and wanted to let everyone know about a great tiny house building workshop April 6th and 7th in Riegelwood, North Carolina that's going to be hosted by TV personality and friend of mine, Derek 'Deek' Diedricksen. I'm going to be attending and presenting a session or two on tiny house topics. It runs two full days and evenings and will be packed full of content, knowledge and skill sharing.
If you want to have a hands on tiny house building experience, Deek's workshops are great for that. I've been to several and not only are they a lot of fun, but there is a lot to be learned as well. I know North Carolina isn't around the corner. Regardless, consider it. Road trip time. Bring a friend.
Please note that this is not a free event but a paid weekend build workshop. To find out more about who'll be there and to register for one of the limited attendee slots check out this link:
(Full disclosure: I have no financial connection to this event.)
Please follow the link above to register, but please also RSVP here on Meetup so that I know who to look for when I get to NC. Let me know if you have questions. If this isn't for you, look for another closer-to-home event shortly! Wishing you all the best for 2019. Go tiny.
