    Unity of Mesa

    Mesa IANDS Sharing / Discussion Group (Mesa/SDG) will meet at 6:00 pm monthly on the second Friday (except when a month starts on Friday, then the group will meet on the third Friday for those months only). These Mesa/SDG small group events will meet in the Annex Bldg. at Unity of Mesa, 2700 E Southern Ave, Mesa, AZ. SDG meetings focus on sharing personal experiences using a facilitated peer support model. Sharing of first person experiences such as near-death, spiritually transformative or other life-changing experiences is embraced. All participants have experiences worth sharing. All can benefit when experiences are shared in an environment emphasizing mutual respect, caring and confidentiality. A love offering is suggested to help cover group expenses but no-one is ever turned away for lack of funds. Central Arizona IANDS is maintained as a legal affiliate of the International Association for Near-Death Studies (IANDS) and is eligible for IRS 501c3 tax-deductible donations.

    Nancy Clasby – has been a practitioner of spirituality and healing since a spontaneous awakening in 1996. She is the author of “The Reluctant Mystic, Autobiography of an Awakening”, recording artist of “Healing Meditations”, a meditation teacher, and energy healer.   • AZIANDS - Mesa Workshop - Nancy Clasby - Metta Meditation

    Nancy Clasby will be teaching a guided meditation called the Metta Meditation, also known as the Prayer for Lovingkindness. Metta means Loving Kindness in Pali, which is the language spoken by the Buddha. It is the groundwork for mindfulness practice, requiring the same non-judging, non-grasping, non-rejection orientation towards the present moment. This workshop invites and makes room for a calmness, clarity of mind and heart, and understanding. Participants will gently guided through this process. It will be one and a half hours with questions and comments afterwards. There is no limit of participants. All are welcome! Workshop – Unity Church of Mesa, 2700 E. She is a Reiki, polarity, and craniosacral practitioner, as well as an ARCB certified reflexologist. She received her BA from Lesley University in Cambridge Massachusetts. Her prior work includes recordings of guided healing meditation.

    Rev. Bill McDonald is offering to donate all the proceeds of his workshop to raise funds for AZIANDS and help us raise money to bring in dynamic speakers from around the Country.
