Trail Hustling (v): moving as quickly as possible on foot over trail.

I started using this term about 6 year ago to describe how I view trail running.
Anyone who runs trail, especially those long ones, know that completing a distance on varied terrain includes more than just running. There are those steep hills we hike, the short flats we jog while shedding layers or shoving GU down our throats. And don’t forget those really long distances with big elevation gains that sometimes feel like we’re climbing stairs. So yah, Trail Hustling: that constantly changing pace while adapting to terrain, managing balance & mixing up stride length that keeps us moving as quickly as possible over those trails that we love. You get it.

We are new residents to SLO & love being active outdoors. Trail running is one of our favorite ways to do it. This Meetup & Facebook Group is for trail runners who want to get together for social, supportive, non-competitive runs or to train together for upcoming events. All abilities are welcome and our intention is to supplement, include or integrate already established area groups such as Los Osos Trail Runners & the SLO Trail Runners. We understand that no one is in town every weekend & we all have different schedules. So anyone who wants to post a run that is not on the Meetup schedule, can simply post it on the Central Coast Trail Hustlers Facebook page here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/127911427866479/
We also encourage this Facebook group page to be a forum for sharing articles, training tips or ideas for races that others may be interested in.
