Presentation = Ian Thomas will do a presentation on effective design patterns in Android. A discussion on leveraging Intents, Compound Views, Fragments, and Services to accelerate your application development while improving maintainability and supporting future scope.

We'd also like to feature 1 or 2 projects that the community is working on. Please email me at [masked] to reserve a spot if you'd like to demo what you're working on!

If any of you all at the meetup are interested in an Android developer position in Gainesville at my company (Mobiquity) - send me a message! We're looking for a couple relatively entry level folks starting in July. We also have some mid and senior positions open.

I plan to speak next month on using continuous integration to drive application builds; however, as useful as that is, it is a fairly boring subject and almost off topic.

Given that, if anyone would like to suggest another topic you are more than welcome to do so.

Sounds interesting to me. Would anyone be interested in a 30 minute intro presentation on using Parse.com for PUSH and data storage in the cloud? I'm using their free service in my latest app and find it very useful and easy to use.

CI isn't boring, it's the best! Also Parse.com is something I use regularly - big fan.

    Ian,
Thank you for the presentation yesterday and continuous integration does sound interesting.

Topic Idea, you could ask Joel Martinez to talk about Xamarin Studio and working with android in C#. I talked to him months back and he said he'd be down.
