Monthly Raw Food Pot Luck Dinner

The Swoope Studio also known as Sandy Bonus Fine Arts Studio is officially our "Meeting Place". It is absolutely beautiful. You have to come and experience the wonder of this venue we've been blessed with. Here are the rules, so to speak!

We will enter and start setting up at 5pm and should start eating around 5:30pm. Please see the thread on the message board saying recipes, recipes, and more recipes for some raw recipe choices and sites to guide you, there is also a downloaded recipe book for you to choose recipes from. Choose and bring a raw, vegan (by this I mean a dish consisting of fresh ..... hopefully organic fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, sprouted grains and herbs only) dish that will feed at least 10 people along with a donation of $3.00 or come and eat for a donation of $10.00. This helps me recover some of the outside costs and pay for this beautiful space.  If you are new to Raw Foods and confused about what to bring please know that those donations in lieu of the dish do help. I get excited about each and every one of our meetups and hope you do too! Having at this venue makes it all the more exciting. I am inviting all of you to bring family, friends, neighbors and any you know interested in a Raw/Living Food Lifestyle. See You There!

There has been some mix-up in location. The address is 142 S. Swoope Avenue in Maitland Florida. From 17-92 and Horatio Avenue turn East and stay in the Right Lane, turn Right /South at the second street, it will be Swoope and the building is on the left....the 1st building. I look forward to seeing you!

    Hello All! I know a few of you suggested certain remedies for my mom's cough. I can't find the napkin I wrote it on, and can only remember a few! Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. She has a cough/but more congestion now. Put on an antibiotic but that's not helping yet. I love the whole natural/holistic approach, and know you guys could offer great tips!

      hey Laura, I will consult with Gene for you today, we are opening our clinic soon as I was telling Chef Olive. :) But I know in natural medicine antibiotics need to be balanced by taking a probiotic as well, one in the morning, the other at night, to balance things out.

    Mom and I started out making "Raw Mashed Potatoes" but after one and a half hours pouring our love we decided it is really "RAW Creamy Yummy Cauliflower". 3 heads of Organic Caulifower, 3/4 cups of raw and soaked cashews and macadamia nuts, 3 small garlic cloves, organic pepper, sea salt to taste, one 1.5 organic apples, 3 table spoons of olive oil, hmm I will tell you there if there is anything else in there :)
