Lantern Key Inn / Blue Finn in Islamorada has reasonable rate and is close by but you are welcome to make your own arrangements. Please sign up as soon as possible so that we can lock in the boat. This trip will be an overnight camping trip. Lots of big gators, all shy, and birds. Want to check out the eagles nest - see what kind of activity there might be. The Old SR 13 railway and trestle was part of the Flagler Railroad System in the early 1900's and today is part of the Florida National Scenic Trail and is used by hikers to cross the Econlockhatchee River. The last time we did this river, the water was so high we had to go around the bridge, and could have paddled across the bridge. Come join me....we can be on the water by 9am. 419 BRIDGE GPS CORDS: N28 39'18.5" W081 10'06.1"

I will be accepting payment in March. It is this little gem right here that we covet. Come out for a day of fun as we snorkel for scallops. I have rented 3 boats (not pontoons) with Captain included to take us in search of the almighty scallop. You do NOT need a fishing license. You do NEED to bring mask, snorkel, and fins. If you do not have them, provided you give me enough notice, the captain will bring you a set to use for a nominal fee of $10. You will need a bag to gather your scallops. Bring a towel, sunblock, hat, sunglasses etc. Bring drinks and snacks. Only SMALL coolers please as the room is limited. The captain will have a cooler with ice to put the scallops in. We will split the scallops equally. If you do not wish to share, this trip is not for you. In order to be a part of the sharing, you must spend at least[masked]% of the time in the water. Bring extra cash to tip the Captain. Recommended tip is $10 per person. Where we will be leaving our cars and departing from, there is a restaurant. When we return, we can stay and have lunch there for those who choose to. The cost to attend this event is $67 per person and payment is required to secure your spot.
