We are a group of outdoor enthusiasts that met in other Meetup groups and decided we would like to form our own group.

If you enjoy car camping, kayak day trips, kayak camping, day hikes or primitive backpacking - this just might be the group for you. We are planning to complete the Florida trail in section hikes.

We will tailor trips from novice to expert. As such, we do not put ourselves out there as experts. we are just your ordinary individuals who enjoy outdoor pursuits and expect the members of our group to take full responsibility to be prepared for all activities with their own equipment. Individual members will take full responsibility for their own safety.

As a member of this group we hope you will feel comfortable enough to make suggestions, critique trips, suggest trips - whatever. We want our group to be your group.

Econ River - 419 to Hwy 46 / Camping on the river Saturday night

Location visible to members

This trip will be an overnight camping trip. Lots of big gators, all shy, and birds. Want to check out the eagles nest - see what kind of activity there might be. The Old SR 13 railway and trestle was part of the Flagler Railroad System in the early 1900's and today is part of the Florida National Scenic Trail and is used by hikers to cross the Econlockhatchee River. The last time we did this river, the water was so high we had to go around the bridge, and could have paddled across the bridge. Come join me....we can be on the water by 9am. 419 BRIDGE GPS CORDS: N28 39'18.5" W081 10'06.1"
