Chelsea and Battersea Park Evening Walk

Continuing the evening walk season, here’s another date for your diary. Thursday 2nd May 2013 walk through the home of the most famous pensioners in Britain, together with some of the more well-known streets in Chelsea and and then on to Battersea Park

Meet at 6.30 pm at Sloane Square tube ticket office for a couple of hours' wander around Chelsea, and the surrounds, including:


  • the Royal Hospital

  • Oscar Wilde's former home

  • The church of Our Most Holy Redeemer where there is a relic from Thomas More's vertebrae on the altar.

  • Cheyne Walk which has attracted famous people from all walks of life and continues to do so.

  • The Albert Bridge

  • The Peace Pagoda in Battersea Park

This should be a good walk of about 3-4 miles
