How to find us

Visit our website https://www.clog.org.uk and choose a event NB Only a selection of our events are posed on Meetup but they are all on our website!

Join our new Facebook group for people who are interested in CLOG but not yet members.

Many events are added much closer to the date. Only a small selection are actually posted on Meetup.

EVENTS IN THE NEXT TWO MONTHS ARE ALSO HERE https://www.clog.org.uk/p/hotline-events.html

Follow us on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/CentralLondonOutdoorGroup/

Central London Outdoor Group (https://www.clog.org.uk) is not like any other Meetup Group! We don't charge for walks, cycle rides etc (own bike needed unless otherwise stated) and you are welcome to attend three events for free to try out the club. After that you have to become a member of CLOG if you wish to continue but our annual membership (https://membermojo.co.uk/clog) fee is only £15 for new members.

Interested in walking, cycling, hillwalking, kayaking, adventure travel, trips away, outdoor adventures, exploring the countryside, great outdoors, mountains and coast, while making new friends?

Want to join a real outdoor activities club run for and by members (ie no paid organisers) rather than a commercial or semi-commercial outfit?

Prefer to be with a group with people who come regularly or semi-regularly so you can make new friends rather than a group with 20,000 members so you never see the same people twice?

Dislike walking or cycling in huge swarms of people? Some Meetup group outdoor events have 40+ people but not us!

Then Central London Outdoor Group (CLOG) may be the group for you!

People of any age are welcome to join CLOG - the majority of our current members are in their 40s and 50s.

CLOG (https://www.clog.org.uk/) is all about about walking, cycling, hillwalking, exploring our countryside and other outdoor adventures and making new friends.

Our walks, cycle rides, trips away and other outdoor adventures are run by our members for our members and are all on our website events calendar (https://www.clog.org.uk/p/events-calendar.html) and the Hotline (https://www.clog.org.uk/p/hotline-events.html?m=1).

Our membership (https://membermojo.co.uk/clog) fee for one year is £15 for new members. This pays for our basic running costs plus subsidising some events where there are external costs. We are not-for-profit and our events are led by members on an unpaid/voluntary basis, so everything is ploughed back into the group.

We have around 20 or more trips away (https://www.clog.org.uk/p/trip.html) each year for weekends and longer holidays in the UK and abroad. These are run at cost (to pay for food and accommodation) or sometimes subsidised. You normally need to be a member to come on a trip.

Walking, hillwalking and cycling are our main activities but we also offer opportunities to try out other outdoor pursuits such as canoeing, sea kayaking, sailing, champing, orienteering and beachcombing.

Our Meetup page only shows a selection of our events. A full list can found on our website (http://www.clog.org.uk/). It is also useful (but not essential) to give the website a good read before turning up to any of our events. If you like what you see there, please do sign our visitors book (https://www.clog.org.uk/p/visitors-book.html). Finally, don't forget you can like us on our Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/CentralLondonOutdoorGroup/) page and follow on Twitter (https://twitter.com/Clogtweets). Photos from recent trips can be found on our Flickr (https://www.flickr.com/photos/clogpics/albums) page. Also if you have been to any of our events and enjoyed it, please consider leaving a review on this site as well.

NB CLOG is non-commercial and events are organised by members of the club on a voluntary basis. All participants should make themselves aware of the risks inherent in walking, cycling and other outdoor activities and take responsibility for their own actions and choices of activity.
